  • YES. HOWEVER, THERE IS A NON-REFUNDABLE RESERVATION CANCELLATION FEE OF $25 FOR RESERVATIONS CANCELLED PRIOR TO 72 HOURS BEFORE CHECK-IN. CANCELLATIONS MADE WITHIN 72 HOURS OF CONFIRMED CHECK-IN TIME WILL BE CHARGED THE FIRST NIGHT'S STAY PLUS OCCUPANCY TAX. NO SHOWS WILL BE CHARGED THE FIRST NIGHT STAY PLUS OCCUPANCY TAX. Cancellations must be sent via email to stay@palmsresortcafe.com or phoned in 956-761-1316.

  • The Cafe on the Beach is open for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner from 8AM to 10PM seven days a week.

  • We are a pet friendly resort and do allow guests traveling with their pets to stay in our resort. To help cover the cost of additional cleaning and dry cleaning the following is a list of pet fees based on length of stay:

    1-6 nights: 1 time fee of $45 + 17% occupancy tax per pet.

    7-14 nights: 1 time fee of $65 + 17% occupancy tax per pet.

    15-29 nights: 1 time fee of $100 + 17% occupancy tax per pet.

    30 + nights: $100 per pet per month.

    Pets must be kept on a leash at all times on the property while outside of guest’s room. The Palms Resort reserves the right to ask owners of unruly or nuisance pets to vacate the property without a refund.

  • Yes. For Winter Texan rates and reservations of 30 consecutive days or more, please contact the reservation desk at 956-761-1316.

  • No. To ensure that all of ours guests can enjoy their stay, smoking is STRICKLY PROHIBITED in the rooms. A damage fee of $300 plus 17% occupancy tax will be assessed for any violation of this policy. No exceptions. We do have designated smoking areas on the property.

  • Upon your arrival head to our lobby. Our front desk agent will give you an introduction to the hotel and assist you with our check-in procedures. If arriving after 10 p.m. please contact the front desk prior to your arrival to obtain our late night check-in procedures.

  • Yes. and it’s free.

  • You will find parking directly in front of the rooms. We also have an over-flow parking lot located across the street (south-west corner).

  • At the back of the property closest to the beach.

  • Yes. Our beach lounge chairs and signature striped umbrellas are available for guests to rent. Our beach set-up is $40 per set/per day, which includes 2 chairs and 1 umbrella. Our beach service is managed by SPI Umbrella & Chair Rentals. You can give them a call at 956-774-3866 to reserve your beach set-up during your stay. Be sure to tell them you are staying at the Palms Resort.

  • Yes. The pool is heated to 84 degrees during cooler months.

  • Yes. We have a variety of merchandise for sale at our front desk.

  • Yes. Room charges are available.

  • Check-in is 3:00 p.m. Check-out is 11:00 a.m.
